Win $3000 to Travel!

Hey all! It’s me again, taking a quick break from trying to solve my overwhelming burnout to bring you… dum dum dum… a fantastic opportunity to travel!

Disclaimer: I’m not getting anything for sharing this, except the joy of knowing one of you might finally launch your dream trip!

The #1 feedback I get from folks who read my blog is that they would LOVE to travel, but can’t figure out how to pay for it or get started. Because, for all of the Instagrammable travel quotes like, “travel is the one thing you can buy that makes you richer” or “I’d rather have a passport full of stamps than a house full of stuff,” the reality is that things cost money, yes? Welcome to the real world. And not all of us are prepared to sell our house full of (really cool) stuff to travel.

Seriously, give me a break.

With that said, there are still some great opportunities out there for financial aid, and this is one of them:

Travel Access Project’s Annual Gap Year Grant – $3000

Before you say, “I’m too —– for a gap year,” hold on a second.

The grant is open to absolutely anyone who wants to travel in 2019 and learn something along the way.

Students. Solo travelers. College graduates. Backpackers. Career breakers. FAMILIES.

There are no age, background, or nationality limits. Planning to travel? Planning to learn at least one new thing along the way? You’re golden.

In other words, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for. If money has been the primary stopgap between your current life and the adventure of your dreams, it’s time to jump on this. It takes 15 minutes to fill out the application. When was the last time you could earn $3000 in 15 minutes? For me, that would be never. ;)

Apply Here

Take a look at their website for more info. Applications opened yesterday, so jump, people, jump! And please comment below with your trip ideas if you do apply. I want to hear all about it. :)

Thanks for posting this link Hannah. At first I thought that I was too… OLD to apply, but then I thought, it can’t hurt; and IF we get a $3K grant, it will only benefit my family! So I’m going to send in our application! This year we’re hoping to do more explorative learning. And in the next couple of years, once a few things align and the budget is worked out, we’ll be on our World Schooling Journey! ;)
